When I heard the Tron Legacy soundtrack, I only thought one thing: This sounds like Hans Zimmer. Of course the taking of Hans Zimmer's style is nothing new (Steve Jablonsky and Klaus Badelt.) The soundtrack is exciting and overall a neat score. BUT I think it is a little too techoy. Sure it is "composed" by Daft Punk, but I believe it could have sounded a little more original. There were some parts of the score when it sounded like farting music, but the overture is still great. I'd give it a 3 star rating. It sounds like Hans Zimmer, but is still original... even though you could play it at a dance and nobody would think twice that they are dancing to a soundtrack score.
