You make me laugh, Christian.   Saturday, November 3, 2012 (11:47 a.m.)

Is it literally impossible for you to seperate your politics from your entertainment? Something which conservatives (and libertarians such as myself) have been able and/or required to do for about as long as Hollywood has existed and yet the slightest muffle from a right-leaning actor like Clint Eastwood has you claiming the man has "soiled his reputation" for good? Were that the case, I could provide a laundry list of left-leaning actors and actresses whose reputations I might consider "soiled" given some of their public or particularly political remarks. And yet I still admire them as actors and actresses for their work despite their personal beliefs. Seperating one's politics from entertainment makes about as much sense to me as seperating your lights from darks in the laundry. It not only makes sense but keeps one unstained by the other.

Eastwood's oustanding legacy of quality in filmmaking will far and away outlive the likes of you or me, Mr. Clemmensen. That, I can promise you.
