A disappointment apart from the song at the end Posted by: Sheridan <Send E-Mail> Date: Thursday, June 29, 2006, at 12:22 p.m.

I like James Horner, because he is capable of composing such magnificent and great scores such as Titanic,Braveheart,The Spitfire Grill,Glory,Apollo 13,A Beautiful Mind,House Of Sand And Fog,Willow,Field Of Dreams and The Perfect Storm. But this score contains no special elements apart some usual fanfares and the score sung at the end by Josh Groban and Tanja Tzarovsk. The motifs are not enough to maintain the interest of the listeners for such a long time. And the music at some parts is too repetitive.I hope that James Horner will continue to write such magnificent scores that are listed in the introduction, and not continue to write such boring scores such as Troy.I suggest give Troy a miss, and instead, try to get some other Horner scores.
