When you say in your review that the score is not memorable or doesn´t have a theme of its own, I would invite you to listen to such remarkable cues as Escape from the chauteau (which displays the theme for the movie, believe it or not) which is TERRIFIC or the one for the chase scene in Washington.
It's true that some cues are not very interesting, but to call the score a failure is IMHO totally unfair.
As far as I recall, after watching the film in a cineplex in Seattle, I had in mind to purchase ths score as soon as possible.
And the two songs you herald as the best representation of the movie, are just source cues....I thought this site was dedicated to film scores not to inspired by the film music or source cues, neither of which I think, the people who visit this site are interested in.... So it's not an insult not having them in the CD.
