Ok,here comes your explanation : Marianelli steals elements from the tracks France In 1357,Enter The Wormhole,Storming The Castle,Descent,Past And Present.
I' m not a conservative people,I like both old and new solutions that can be found in soundtracks, but I hate those composers who steal something from another composer.I like a lot of composers:John Williams,Danny Elfman,James Horner,Basil Poledouris,Brian Tyler,Christopher Franke (Babylon5 music),Joel and Jerry Goldmsith,Jay Chattaway,Wojciech Kilar,Lee Holdridge,David Shire,Elliot Goldenthal,Ennio Morricone,Alan Silvestri,Trevor Jones,James Newton Howard,Joby Talbot,Michael Kamen,Harry Gregson-Williams,Patrick Doyle,Laura Karpman(Taken from 2002) and many others. So,I like adventure,action,comedy/parody,horror,thriller and dramatic, sad, happy and even otherwordly and uptempo scherzo and animated movies music, even music written for historical films. So you can see I like a lot of recent movie music:Lady In The Water,Taken,Lord Of The Rings triology,Chronicles Of Narnia,Frailty,Dinosaur and many others.I only don' t like Marianelli for his steling habit and because he overuse everything(both the choir and the orchestra).I hope that' s enough as an explanation for you, borg.
