John Woo did to the score for Windtalkers ,what James Cameron did to
the score for Aliens- chop up every cue, splice various parts together,
and drop them in each scene randomly.

I just rented the DVD, and the only way to hear the music is to get the
album, which makes me appreciate it more.Not one cue is left intact,
which ruins the inventiveness of cues like my favourite,
"Taking The Beachead".

P.S. the harmonica solos are only in the film and are heard when
Christian Slater's character plays it, except it's not really him of course.
That's why the CD notes credit a performer named Tommy Morgan
even though the instrument isn't featured on the album itself.
