Man I agree too, Yes the LOTR trilogy is pretty incredible, everything else he writes is kinda lame....

Yeah, and so is John Williams, James Horner, James Newton Howard, Thomas Newman, etc.!!!

Howard Shore is intensely underrated. Silence of the Lambs would have been a walk in the park without Shore's music. And in my opinion, LOTR is the greatest soundtrack trilogy of all time. Even John Williams has yet to attain that level of nobility.
