Five years ago, Filmtracks marked its 20th anniversary with a simple toast to the site's readership: https://www.filmtracks.com/news/updates.cgi?read=63
For Filmtracks' 25th anniversary, those sentiments remain, but along with the new milestone comes an important, long-overdue update to the composer photos at the site, a feature which had last been revised in 2012. The photos seen on the reviews and the photo albums in the Composers section are now current, larger, and include an additional 31 composers. A new 2021 photo album reflects these changes: https://www.filmtracks.com/composers/
Photos have been added for the following composers:
Panu Aaltio
Lorne Balfe
Ludovic Bource
Nicholas Britell
John Carpenter
Ludwig Göransson
Rupert Gregson-Williams
Hildur Guðnadóttir
Daniel Hart
Tom Holkenborg
Justin Hurwitz
Jóhann Jóhannsson
Federico Jusid
George Kallis
Abel Korzeniowski
Joe Kraemer
Bear McCreary
John Murphy

Daniel Pemberton
Conrad Pope
Steven Price
Trent Reznor
Dan Romer
Atticus Ross
Pinar Toprak

Additionally, five new basic composer pages were added as well for composers now with coverage of at least eight of their scores at Filmtracks:
Lorne Balfe
Tom Holkenborg
Benjamin Wallfisch
Tyler Bates
Harald Kloser
A larger overhaul of the previously existing composer pages is still in the works. Until then, Filmtracks will continue to debut new review coverage at an accelerated rate compared to previous years.
As the first ever feedback to Filmtracks declared, "If assholes had wings, this place would be an airport." After 25 years, the validity of that statement still remains in question, but with each passing year, there's a greater chance that this airport has outlived the sender of that message. Here's to another few flights.
