Filmtracks "On Cue" is the centerpiece of the Filmtracks.com home page. Created on the eve of Filmtracks' fourth anniversary, On Cue was initially an early blog-like feature with which soundtrack enthusiasts could quickly and reliably read about what was new at Filmtracks and, in the case of major events, what was happening in the film music industry at large. The section originally (in 2000 and for a few years following) included capsule reviews of score albums, updates about the newest donated reviews, links to the hottest new topics at the Scoreboard Forum, selected and insightful feedback from soundtrack enthusiasts, and news and announcements in our genre of the music industry. Since then, the section has become mostly a place to announce new Filmtracks coverage or updates regarding the site. Listings are now held to a maximum of one per day.
