  • Posting History:

Iím a writer of genre fiction living in southern California. Iím happily married and share my house with a cat who is also a fan of film scores - at least he stays in the room when they are on.

I worked at a video store for about 10 years and so was exposed to lots of different movies and movie music. In addition I used to write reviews for for about five years, so I also know my share of anime composers and music.

I started my score collection because I was a Star Wars fan - got all three scores on cassette back in the mid 80ís. I started collecting other scores by John Williams (and he holds a large space in my collection) but exposure to Vangelis really got the bug going.

Here is a list of some of my favorite film scores (and yes I'm stuck in the 80s and I'm a Goldsmith fan)

As a writer I use most of my scores to help inspire my writing and Iím always looking for new music to feed that inspiration. My muse demands it.
