I listened today to "The Electrical Life of Louis Wain" by Arthur Sharpe and "Napoleon-In The Name Of Art" by Remo Anzovino and these 2 scores surprised me a lot.
Both are very melodic, extra emotional in parts, with some particularly memorable cues and a kind of thematic material that is not heard much nowadays with some notes and harmonies
It is highly recommended to give both scores a try, Really beautiful stuff.
I catched Craig Armstrong' "The Most Reluctant Convert" also and it was....very nice *** stars rating on first listen with 2 particular strong cues, but not on the level of the composr'best.
