• Now Playing: Assassin's Creed: Odyssey: The Flight

Heading back to the ancient world "Assassin's Creed" style. I really enjoyed "Odyssey" with its classical Greek setting and mythic adventures. The music was a huge part of that. Score performed by The Flight and captures the flavor of the game. After that heading over to "Origins" with it's ancient Egyptian setting. This score by Sarah Schachner is equally awesome and brought a lot to the game.

What are you listening to?

Origins is definitely a wonderful score! At least an equal to Anthem, and definitely superior to her Call of Duty work. On the other hand, I remember struggling with Odyssey back when it came out. I vaguely recall there being insufficient enunciation to the title theme to satisfy my Assassinís Creed-related expectations, though whether or not this is true I cannot really say (I was terrible at recognizing any but the most blatantly belted out themes back then).

Lego Universe (Brian Tyler)
Iíll duel anyone who accuses Brian Tyler of mediocrity! He may overstuff his albums with content, but itís been years since I didnít love one (Xander Cage and the Devil We Know, for the record).

Been listening to some of my favorites by John Williams: Jurassic Park, Hook and I'll finish off with War Horse.
