Wednesday I got to:
Life of Pi (Danna)
The Last Airbender (Howard)

Yesterday got to:
War Horse (Williams)
How to Train Your Dragon 2 (Powell, deluxe edition)

Had skipped over War Horse because I couldn't remember whether that or Tintin had taken the top spot for that year, and skipped over HTTYD2 because I hadn't had the chance to break open the expansion. It's...good? Lol I mean the score was already great to me and while there were a few new cues that were really good, there's not a whole lot I feel like the expansion added. Still, I never actually bought this score previously, and it matches my expanded album for the first one, so maybe when Powell releases Hidden World in full I can complete the set.

Pop Quiz: When I acquire the Hidden World deluxe edition (whenever it's released), it'll be one of two film franchises in which I own every score in the series. Can you name the one I currently have? (Hint, it's not an obvious pick.) Additionally, there was one other series I owned every score of, but then they made another movie, can you name that franchise?

And maybe whatever new releases we may be getting this weekend, all I see so far is S2 of Blake Neely's The Flight Attendant. Doesn't look like the Kenobi theme is getting a proper release yet...

Starting the morning with "The Rocketeer" by Horner. I listened to this fairly recently, but dammit I was it again. That main theme... just awesome. After that, will switch gears and have some 70s schlocky fun with Goldsmith's "The Swarm". B-E-E indeed. If I have any time left maybe "Empire of the Sun" by Williams.

Its actually quite hilarious how Jerry pokes fun at his score for Patton and his horror movies, but you do need to be in the right mindset.

I'm also listening to the expanded How To Train Your Dragon 2 score. Glad I was able to get the physical release, since it's my favorite of the series.
