Is it coincidence that you mention this crime?

There was once a criminal arrested for masturbating on The Bust of Lenin in Irkusk. Picture linked here,

I should add in passing that Lenin was always very shy and inclined to lurk in the shadows at international congresses, perhaps because he lacked confidence in his knowledge of languages -- although he spoke good German and had no mean grasp of French and English. In spite of this he used to limit his public utterances at congresses to a few sentences.

He would have few words for the perverts who fornicate with his likeness or other exhibits of Russian history.
