As this thread is about typographical errors, I assume that Kuhni intentionally got the spelling of 'insult' wrong, so I came back with my own error, but this time a grammatical one. It was fully intentional.

My understanding of 'crud' is that it is simply another word for 'rubbish', or something of such nature. 'Clod', on the other hand, is definitely an insult. However, on the scale of insults it's a fairly minor one as far as I'm concerned.
