I'm not criticising JNH (or Clemmensen, for that matter), but given the quality of the scores that have been released so far this year, it's not difficult to fathom that Lady in the Water is the best score of the year (so far, at least). However, based on the sound clips I'm very excited about hearing this score. Unfortunately, the Australian release date of the film is screwed (7th September), so I'm going to have to wait a while to get the soundtrack (invariably they aren't released in Australia until after the film).

I know it's too early to judge, but does anyone think there's a likelihood of this score getting an Oscar nomination? I certainly hope it does.
