I finished his "Mr. X" not too long ago, but wasn't terribly impressed. I've read a couple of those you've mentioned, though, and enjoyed them.
Here's a plug: Read Simon R. Green's "Nightside" series if you want a kick-ass fantasy/horror/mystery combo that is chock FULL of invention and doesn't take itself too seriously. Great fun with some eye-widening moments of awe.
