I don't like to see good films broken apart. I'd rather take it all in as a single, gratifying experience and enjoy it that way. I eat the meal, rather than eating each of the meals ingredients seperately, salt, oregano, tomatoes. If this professional reviewer's style of looking at a movie or soundtrack is seeing each part, sound, pacing, cinemetography, then perhaps he can't enjoy the movie like i do.
Publicated movie reviews should be outlawed. I rue the thought of having read this review before seeing a.i. myself!
oh, yeah, and curse the 'trained classical ear!!'

I agree. I have not enjoyed a movie this much in ten years. This "professional" reviewer totally missed the boat. I think the mix of styles really worked on this movie. The combination of styles make this a delicious mix that I thoroughly enjoyed as a whole.
