I actually like this score. Some of you don't and that indclude you Mr. Clemmensen. But who's perfect.

so for those of you who like the score here is the film order for selected tracks

Where's 10? Is it referring to the scene when Ripley scans herself and discovers the embrion of the queen inside her? Or is it track 3?

At times this score is totally annoying and as musically wild as You can only imagine, but some parts in here are stunning testimony to Goldenthal's genius and unique talent (monumentally sounding brass in "Explosion and Aftermath" is simply rousing).

Previously in past I considered Alien 3 as average, difficult Goldenthal score, today after getting familiar with all but few Goldenthal works for film (and few classical ones) I can honestly say it's the most important work of his film career and a very important influence for today's 'dark' film music /example: recent The Brothers Grimm by Dario Marianelli/
