First of all, whoever wrote the initial review for this score should listen to the track with the movie. Almost twenty years have passed since this movie was released and I can still recall much of the music. This soundtrack is more subtle than the average Williams soundtrack. Long lofty flight sequences peppered with a few folksy moments. It has a similiar feel to "The Natural." The music for the afterlife scene is very minimal, but who needs roaring music over powering Audrey Hepburn? If you are looking for big music with heroic themes buy Star Wars or Indiana Jones! But if you want something you can close your eyes and lose yourself in buy "Always."

Well I always (no pun) liked the feel of the movie and I agree to an extent thru the movie it was lacking a theme, although it comes thru at the end and its quite inspiring.

I just got the soundtrack from Amazon (Jan 8 2007) was VERY dissapointed the end credit music was missing from the album????????? What the heck?? This is what I got it for pretty much now I have to record it from the movie itself and put it in..what where they thinking..grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
