The music is effective but I can remember any of it such that I can hum it in my head. All I can think of is a very fast and low set of

A, C(flat), A, C(flat), A, C(flat), A, C(flat)......'s

Well, doh, mi(flat), doh, mi(flat), doh, mi(flat)...'s anyway...

I would have preferred some catchy and memorable melodies.

Isn't that just "A, B, A, B, A, B, A, B..."?

or rather...

"doh, re, doh, re, doh, re, doh, re..."?

Be that as it may, I DO think the soundtrack is quite memorable. Everytime I listen to it I get the same feeling I got at the moment watching the film.
It's because of this score that I enjoyed this movie so much, not that it was bad or anything, quite the contrary...But I strongly believe (as many of you probably do) that the soundtrack has almost as much (if not equal) importance than the script, director, and actors themselves.

I agree with you, especially in this movie. I've seen it twice and the soundtrack really makes it more powerful. All together I think it's great!
