I think you nailed it. WHile I revel in bombast, I really wanted less MV and more raw orchestral Tyler power. He almost broke through at times, but never really escaped MV mode.

Another fine review.

I think the idea that there are alien invaders led by Sarah Palin is more intriguing.

If they are, that would certainly explain the lack of logic in their strategy, and their consequent epic failure.
