Has anyone else ever noticed that the notes used to communicate with the aliens, if played backwards, are the same notes in the beginning of the Star Trek theme? Tap it out and see what I mean!

??

CE3k backwards:

G C C' E' D'

ST forwards:

G C' F' E' C' A D' G'

Only the first 2 notes match, but then again, that interval is quite typical for brass instruments anyway.
