How many times can you use 'Finale' in a CD track listing? Are you going for a record?

John Williams does it often, too.

"Epilogue/Finale" is title for the final track of Horner's Wolfen score, "Infiltration,Showdown And Finale" in used for final track of Commando, and "Finale and End" for In Country.

Typically, he has used the alternative "End Title" several times, another favorite so-called "overused" title of many composers.

The Elfman clone Brian Tyler does it as well.

He's more of a Goldsmith clone.

I'm not even sure the composers name the tracks. That might very well be someone else's job, especially when it comes to intros and credits.

They're not paid for being able to use the english language creatively, you know.

But it appears that in mostly every Elfman score, there's a 'Finale' or 'Final Confrontation'

Not just Elfman scores, lots of scores. Could be people he works with, or the studio he works for. In any case, I'm fairly certain that the person to whom the complaint should be directed isn't actually Mr. Elfman.
