Well .. First of:
I do not agree with your review of the score to the HULK - maybe it's too modern & European for you? - I guess - and your proposals on mood of the score is a bit funny... Please stop reviewing scores if you don’t understand them...

The lack of a theme in THE HULK is a bit of a relief - it has become a standard in US films for quiet some time now - and frankly it's tiresome..
And all good movies dos not come wraped up nicely with a standard American plot tied up in a nice theme.. For all no-brainers.. ( that be the US average audience).. NUFF SAID

Best Regards & MAKE MINE MARVEL

What makes you more of an expert of understanding scores than Clemmensen?

Clemmenson its time for me to describe you... look up the word geek for us why don't you. This will be my last post at Filmtracks. I urge many of you to do the same. Clemmenson is an obnoxious jerk and does not have a critics view of music. I enjoy classical and a wide variety of music. I urge you Clemmenson to think how ignorent your words may sound when they are thrown back at you.

Goodbye,

Amon Hen 2112

Very well, if you are such a superior intellect on the subject of film scores, then why don't you submit an intelligent review for score of The Hulk (1000 words minimum) and I will publish it right after mine.

Otherwise, you present me with no proof that you understand film scores better than a plastic lizard.

Christian

Dear Christian ... wery mature.

first of i used to write rewievs on a daily basis - in an other language for 2 magazines - 1. a lifestyle mag 2. an all filmmagazine.

second. i make music and work as a DJ - been doing it since 1984 - so understanding music and scores comes naturely. - THE HULK Score might be different but its still great in its own way - and as i said before - the lack of theme - is good - thinking this movie is made for fans of THE HULK - and a fan - i am.. since childhood. - A lot of people must be tiered (like me) of the same stupid themes. or soundtracks just so the compagny can sell some more - it is time to learn how a great score should sound like - just listen to: THE RUSSIAN HOUSE f.ex -

third. i do not think i have to prove i can du a better Rewiev - it's obvious - isn't it?!

Mr. Clemmenson,
I write to you on behalf of myself and the organization I so faithfully represent, the League for the Ethical Movement in the US of Retile and Lizard Organizations, Independent or National Statuses (LEMURLOINS, for short). Here at LEMURLOINS, we do not discriminate one lizard from another, be they of blood and skin, or plastic or a little bit of both. We too recognize the importance of a good score, and do not wish to be the standard of low taste in scores. Please atone for you sins by sending you copy of the soundtrack to THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH to this address:

Gregory Hirst
2121 Dover Ave.
Casper, WY 82601

Or else PIZZA.. is gonna send out.. for youuuuuuuuU!
