first off, i am a big zimmer fan, but as much as clemenson has to chill on his anti-zimmer reviews(dude seriously take a sanka or something. you come off as a guy who got rejected by zimmer or remote conrol all together.) all the zimmer lovers out there take a step back and be objective as well. while inception is a very very cool score that blends great with the film, it isnt his best work. does it make it bad? no. Ive been waiting for this score since i heard zimmer was scoring inception, and to be honest it is exactly what i expected. it is the obvious direction to go into after Dark knight. does he take elements from other works of his? yes, obviously, who doesnt! what, you think because john williams's scores are so complex you cant notice elements from star wars in minority report or harry potter? guys get over yourselves. while zimmers latest scores lack that big hollywood counterpoint like his previous works, it is still entertaining. maybe he shouldnt brag about his stuff as much as clemenson says he does, but common, its hollywood and as much as some of you dont want to admitt it, Hans is the king right now. i loved inception because of where it brings me emotionally as i think of the images of the film while i listen to it in my car. its very inspiring, evern though it isnt complex or overly orchetrated. so to all the eletists, get over yourselves. to clemenson, dude you need to take a pill, and to all the zimmer fanboys, guys its not his best. Lets see what he does with batman 3!!
