On this score,as usually in other SW scores, the strings and the brasses dominate. There are some extremely good themes worthy to mention:the theme of the twins (Luke and Leia),performed by an extremely beautiful string and an outstanding brass section. The haunting, dissonant and elementary evil theme written for the Galactical Emperor, performed by a dark choir and suspenseful and haunting music,is extremely effective as used in both the film and on the albums. The theme of the Ewoks is colurful and playful, highly enjoyable.Although the other SW albums might better, this album has its unique motifs and orchestral solutions.
