The 'woad' part is a bit of a pun... In the film the Picts (or a similar Celtic type tribe) are referred to as 'Woads' - which is probably more of a slang type nickname the Romans came up with than a proper ethnic tribal title. The word woad itself refers to a plant used to make blue dye for use on fabric or skin. And apparently the people who named the tracks thought they were clever to use it as a pun; just as the third track "Do you think I'm Saxon" is a play on 'do you think i'm sexy"
