Zimmer ceases to amaze me with his scores. This one is no different. While short, the 4 tracks come together for a nice suite of music. King of Priderock is the best peice with it's haunting finalle of the two main themes that STILL sends chills down my back. But King Of Priderock should have been alot longer. There is a sequence when Simba and Scar fight and Zimmer's music is breathtaking. But it's not on the cd. The theme that I am talking about can be herd through out the score, but never with the power bass and glory of how it's used in that scene. I hope the 2nd soundtrack that is out has it.
