After the disappointment of the first two M:I scores and the second M:I film, I really hope the JAbrams/Giaccino team nail Mission: Impossible 3. I'm certainly looking foward to it; I'm consistently in awe over their work in Alias (and Lost, but my heart belongs to Agent Bristow).

Having heard Giacchino's "Medal of Honor" and "The Incredibles," I'm not worried in the least. In fact, I think I'm already almost sure to buy it. I'd even bet that the little bit of the "Mission: Impossible" theme that we hear in the trailers is Giacchino's own take on the theme. It sounds like he will return to the jazzy/bombastic style that was used by the TV show. I'm looking forward to it.
