Track like Crystal Ball or Hog Chase didn't have enough of a dominating and catchy enough theme? That same melodic passage appeared in the main title and was reintroduced throughout under different orchestration and arrangements ending (album wise) with the Quartet version. This is one of his most thematic score.

I agree. What kind of statement was that? I think that might be the impression from the first listen but come on! It's such a beautiful and recognizable theme. The best track where it is exposed its the last one IMO "Rachel's Party". Just an amazing use of a quartet.

However, i would enjoyed it more if he had used the theme on "Hog Chase part 2" more throughout the album.

Five Stars. Almost as good as Face Off
