Danny Elfman's score to PLANET OF THE APES is not that good. Track 1 is ok because it's the main title. Other than that, it gets to be pretty boring very fast. I just hate the last track on the sondtrack. What does that achieve?? This will never be remembered like the original POTA from Goldsmith.

I agree with you about the overall quality of this soundtrack but I completely disagree with you (and the editor of the soundtrack review) about the last track. It is as dark as this movie can get and certainly will please the hardcore electronica fans. It also shows that electronica can be a soundtrack for a film.
