Did anyone else notice the resemblance of the recurring brass mtoif to Holst's "Mars"? - I think the horns play almost, if not exactly, the same motif.
Does anyone think that Burton could have wanted this and asked Elfman to use it?

yes, the second and eleventh track on the album in particular has the single-stroke-four regimental militant style rhythm, also known for Darth Vader...but it's been used as military music since long before Mars.

Near the end of track 13 there's a very bold statement of the "main theme"/motif from "Mars" in the brass (up a fifth - down a half-tone). This sounds very intentional.
