I saw the first film and I was impressed with it. I liked it better than the original but the score wasn't as good as Goldsmith's original, (sorry if you disagree). But I just wanna know when "Beneath The Planet of The Apes" is coming out if anyone knows.

Thanks,
Amuro

I really hope the sequel comes out in the next year or two. This movie really needs a sequel. I loved the movie, even though it has many holes. But the end was I think nice. They did the ending in a way that there would definitely be a sequel but they never planned on the sequel? Thats pretty lame. They shouldnt leave people hanging like that. PLEASE FOX, START MAKING A SEQUEL SOON.

Even though it was a box-office hit, Tim Burton said that he wouldn't make a sequel to Planet of the Apes. He's got Big Fish coming out in November, and he's going to direct a re-make of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (which is due out in 2005). It is doubtful that Fox would greenlight a Planet of the Apes sequel.
