I sang this as a solo for choir a few years back and never had a precise translation.

Thank you for posting these. I sang this once in choir (by the way, the music does have the hebrew words, and a translation), and have never even heard the "Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey" version, but that was all I could find on the internet--if you hadn't posted this, I still wouldn't know.

By the way, after the 3 a-shi-ra's, the hebrew is repeated again from the top, then it goes back to the English words.
