Does anybody know which orchestra performed this score? Sounds like the same orchestra for Hannibal and Gladiator. Or did the Media Ventures guys only used their great sounding sample librarys to the max? (there are even more better sounding sampling librarys out there!)

Since Hannibal and Gladiator was filmed in Europe it was the Lyndhurst Shymphonic Orchestra (Lyndhurst is a district in London) who did the job. However, Media Ventures likes to use The Hollywood Shymphony Orchestra, which was widely used by Hans Zimmer in the past 2 years.

Gladiator and Hannibal were performed by the famed Air Lyndhurst Orchestra, which is the symphony orchestra bond with Air-Edel Studios. But, the Hollywood orchestra they tend to use is The Hollywood Studio Symphony, which in fact is a bunch of session players and the deal with them demands the orchestra players to be listed. Still, Zimmer tends to record in London.
