I bought this soundtrack immediately after I saw this movie last July. I knew as soon as I heard this score that it would get an Oscar nomination for Best Original Score. I'm glad that my prediction came true. If you haven't bought this soundtrack, then you're missing a hell of a lot.:)

Despite making a tremendous fuss about wanting Elmer Bernstein's Far From Heaven to win the Original Score award this year I could handle it if this score in fact won...just don't tell anyone(!).
