Quite the storm of negativity for a four star review! Pay the complaints no mind. Somewhere in Time is one of the finest romance pictures. At Jane Seymour's request, John Barry contributed a mesmerizing gem of a soundtrack, with the Rachmaninoff piece being the cherry on top. Easily among Barry's elites (Out of Africa, Dances with Wolves, 007). It's a shame the film wasn't remixed to 5.1 channels for the sake of the music. A wonderful movie regardless, highly recommended for those who appreciate an exquisitely tasteful escape from cold reality. The hour-long documentary in the DVD/Blu-ray bonuses is also worth a look.
