When I listened to Elfman's music for Planet of the Apes I felt a great disappointment. This music was awful, and so I thought that Elfman was no longer the innovative genius he once was. How wrong I was!!!. Spiderman has made me understand that Elfman is still a genius, and that he can still compose music as great as this. What else can I say?. Spiderman is Elfman at his best, a true jewel, a masterpiece. Sublime, lyrical, moving, impressive... Elfman, you are one of the greatest!!!!!
