Of course the best composer in the world. I love his music since Rain Man. Hans prooved his talent year by year; Backdraft, Lion King, Crimson Tide, Prince Of Egypt, Thin Red Line, As Good As It Gets, Gladiator, Hannibal, Pearl Harbor, Black Hawk Down, and finally Tears Of The Sun. This new score contains everything you like (or hate) in Zimmer. Lisa Gerrard and Lebo M are still brilliant. Sometimes the music sounds like Power of One but it's not a mistake. Hans is still fresh, he doesnt copy himself, he is just himself. He caught the spirit of the movie (as usual) and made a spectacular score.(With his always-unique orchestration)
I think it is a very honourable action that Hans lets young talents to write music for/with him, it's a very unselfish thing.
Congratulations Mr. Zimmer you are still the Best.
