I shalln't shout or use multiple exclamation marks, but i do think the people at filmtracks like to think they know a composer inside out, and that is very difficult with Zimmer. therefore, they find it difficult to adjust and then mark conservatively. I do think a lot of the reviews on Zimmer are unfair. Loads of them revolve around pure personal preference. Somebody said they didn't like the "peacemakeresque" style of spirit, that they would have prefereed more orchestra in Gladiator and that they find rain man boring etc etc. I understand Zimmer can be a bit love/hate, and is by no means a flawless composer, but i also think the critics who write this stuff ought to be a little more open-minded.
