Solidarity with HGW's exclusion from the commercial album! (kidding)

I should seek the full score out at some point for completeness' sake. But it's the same reason I skipped hunting down Enemy of the State: exhaustion.

You can hear so many 90s MV action scores in a row - or at least I can. I'm slightly too young to have seen any of these films in theaters; it's not until we get to the next era that we start to encounter #nostalgia for me. Late-stage Media Ventures and the Remote Control era have worse scores, but also much more stylistic diversity.

I may not end up liking any of the Rabin scores I've skipped over so far that much (though Armageddon generally has a better reputation than the other two do), but it wouldn't have been fair to try to fairly review those scores in my current mindset. Keep in mind I was already a bit caustic about Face/Off - and I wasn't kidding about Antz being such a godsend (10 out of 5 stars).

Still, I could've at least included some of the quotes I've seen - especially if I did that for friggin' Two If By Sea! Something to keep in mind for next time.

I may do an odds & ends post once some earlier Zimmer scores I found on CD (K2 and T&L) arrive.
