> The Prince of Egypt (1998) - ***** (I had this at 4.5 before, but
> cannot find a legitimate reason to avoid giving it a top rating)
I still need to sit down and listen to this one from start to finish. The song placements on the album (which I assume are in chronological order?) always throw me off a bit from completing a listen, so I might need to just collect Zimmer's work together on its own.
> Antz (1998) - ****
Hmm... this has piqued my interest in checking out Antz. I still have fuzzy memories of being six years old and seeing the combating posters/trailers, etc. for this and A Bug's Life.
> Enemy of the State (1998) - Not heard
LOL!! The fact you keep skipping the Rabin scores is priceless. XDD
At this point you might need to do a Rabin Rundown at some point just to ease Riley's mind and soul.
> The Thin Red Line (1998) - ****½
I unashamedly give this 5/5 and consider it a Top 10 (even probably Top 5) Zimmer score. It works brilliantly in the fantastic film and also is a wonderful listen on the original commercial album. I debated whether or not to drop the $60 on the LLL release, but ultimately decided to just stick with the 1998 album as it has all the highlights I want.
Anyway, was a joy to read all those quotes about this score, even the ones I recognized from the Criterion release of the film.

Hmm, covering Gladiator and Curse of the Black Pearl, eh? Oh... M:I-2 should also be in this batch....
