The Lion King is a 4.5 star score for me. In some ways it was worse than the original and in some ways it was better. I great companion score. But I disagree with your assessment of Stampede. The new version is so much better. It is longer, more intense, incorporates more themes, and just overall an absolutely joy to listen to. I couldn't go back to the original version personally. I am glad that Zimmer adapted this version for his concert.
