This is a fascinating chapter of his life, especially considering that he resumed working so soon after the aneurysms (I assume).
And I’ll have to revisit The Wiz with this information in mind, as it's been well over two decades *gasp* since I last watched it. I probably need to listen to the Broadway version as well to get a better appreciation for all of the original songs.
