Excellent review for an excellent score. Looking back over the Marvel stuff lately, I think it's the best score since Eternals and Black Widow. Really good stuff.

Delighted to see such a glowing review from you, especially since you were less than impressed with Ms. Marvel. I completely agree with your last paragraph, this is a score that only Karpman could have written, which I find exhilarating.

I've been coming around to this one after a first listen. Yeah, it doesn't use legacy themes as much as we all thought it could / would / should - but that didn't stop us from liking every other Marvel sequel score that did the same thing.

Wrote a short article about this yesterday, which means it won't be published for another month lol, but one of my points is that this is the same thematic structure Silvestri used for his Avengers scores, and this is as a whole better than any of his Avengers scores.

I was gonna come at you with the first Avengers being better but...y'know what, I don't think it is. His main Avengers theme is probably the best bit of music of the entire series, but the rest of that score was never all THAT good. So touche.

Thanks for your reviews of this and many other scores. One or more of the tracks, in addition to "Higher, Further, Faster, Together", seem to be out of film order. Does anyone know the correct sequence and also where one would insert the Barbra Streisand recording of "Memory" as a bonus? Thanks again.
