When I wasn't busy watching sports this weekend, most of my music listening was to either the new Goldenthal album or Backstreet Boys. But I did save a bunch of new scores that I meant to get to. I also noticed that if my count is correct (it's probably not), I'm currently at 99 film scores that I've heard from this year. So now part of me wants to save #100 for a ~significant~ one. Here's some of the new stuff that's out, which I can't decide what to hear first:

Uprising (Cho Yeong-Wook)
Le Metis De Dieu (Nathaniel Mechaly)
Hysteria! (TV) (Tyler Bates)
Rivals (TV) (Natalie Holt/Jack Halama)
The Room Next Door (Alberto Iglesias)

Nothing that really jumps out to me yet, but Cho, Mechaly, and Holt are always of interest to me, and a new Iglesias/Almodovar is always noteworthy. I'll get to most of these, but I might just keep rolling with Backstreet today haha.

Your thoughts? Any other new releases that I missed?

Rad-swaggity.

I also recommend Gundam Requiem for A Vengeance by Wilbert Roget II, really good score from this weekend. Devils Hour season 2 by the newton brothers is not their best by a long shot but it has a few solid moments as well!

I've still yet to give any Iglesias score above a 3.5/5, but I keep trying, so maybe this is the one that'll break me!

Heard half of Rivals...was pretty good I guess.

My response to this is basically, "Is it November yet?"

So Score #100 was already passed because at some point I forgot to add Stetson's Hold Your Breath to my list. Welp. Anyway... some thoughts now that I've listened to most of these:

> Le Metis De Dieu (Nathaniel Mechaly)

Very short, pretty nice. Got a very Baroque sound to it.

> Hysteria! (TV) (Tyler Bates)

It's alright, has a couple fun rock songs.

> Rivals (TV) (Natalie Holt/Jack Halama)

Heavy Bizet influence but pretty consistently fun.

> The Room Next Door (Alberto Iglesias)

Really liked this one, moreso than I normally feel with Iglesais.

Have Uprising, Gundam, and Bambi on the docket for later today.
