The 2008 Intrada album was limited to 3,000 copies and available only through soundtrack specialty outlets for an initial price of $20 prior to selling out. The 2023 re-issue by Pantheon and Universal in France called "The Legend of John Williams" is a large commercial set selling for $110.

The score and song ("Nice to Be Around") were nominated for Academy Awards. The score was also nominated for a Golden Globe.
