• Now Playing: Spellbound: Dream Sequence/ Mountain Lodge

When in high school, this was one of our favorite pieces to play. Our band had an amazing wind section that year. I was a French Horn player, and I thought we sounded pretty good playing this song for a concert. But who knows, maybe the audience felt differently.

This is one of my favorite marches and we still sneak in "Swing, Swing, Swing" at parties every once in a while. I own the soundtrack and it's such a fun and catchy theme that I don't mind it being played throughout. It's not a film score that we can take too seriously, so I just have fun listening to it. Maybe I'm biased because I'm one of the small minority of people who actually liked the movie.
