Right, like how this music is obviously influenced by composers such as Shostakovich, Prokofiev, Stravinsky, Mahler, and Wagner. Gee, those damn Americans, they just infest everything don't they? Just because John Williams wrote it doesn't mean that the music is exclusively American, in fact, hardly any of it is. If you think that just because it is a Fanfare that it's automatically American, then THAT is narrowminded. You apparently know nothing about music history.
